Barry Farah: the personnel touch/ Entrepreneur brings Big Apple flavor to city

Barry Farah isn't from New York City, and he didn't help build the Empire State Building, but you'd never know it talking to him. It's not his accent. He still sounds like a native Californian even though his family left there for Tulsa, Okla., when he was 6.

It's his entrepreneurial savvy that's all Big Apple.

Over the past 10 years, Farah has used focus, drive, the knack for taking risks and barrels of midnight oil to build a net worth estimated at $5 million to $7 million as well as his own little empire in The Office Club executive suites building off Briargate Parkway.

Most recently, he fronted the cash for Inspire Seminars to bring Norman Schwarzkopf to the World Arena and sat next to the retired general at a VIP luncheon. … (read more)
